FAQ
What counts as a document?
Sales invoices and credit notes, purchase invoices received through Peppol, purchase credit notes and PDFs processed by OCR as accounting documents count. Quotes, orders, drafts, master data and ordinary attachments do not.
Does the same document count more than once?
No. A document counts only once, regardless of how many automated processes Billnado performs on it. A document processed first by OCR and then through Peppol still remains one document.
What happens when my included documents run out?
Billnado keeps working in full. Extra documents are charged automatically at your plan’s rate. You receive warnings around 70%, 90% and 100%, and an upgrade always requires your consent.
Are users limited?
No. Flex, Starter, Groei and Pro include unlimited users. Accountant access remains free.
How does Flex work?
Flex costs €0 per month and includes no document bundle. Each unique processed document costs €0,75. Flex may have limited features to prevent misuse of free functionality.
How does the free trial work?
Each company receives 30 free documents once, valid for up to 90 days, with no credit card required. You then choose Flex or a paid plan; existing data remains accessible.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Starter costs €10 per month with 15 documents, Groei €25 with 40 documents and Pro €40 with 80 documents. These plans can be cancelled monthly.
What is the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Monthly billing provides a bundle per monthly billing cycle. Yearly billing saves 10% and makes the full flexible annual bundle available immediately: 200 documents with Starter, 500 with Groei and 1,000 with Pro.
Do unused monthly documents carry over?
No. Unused documents expire at the end of the monthly billing cycle. The bundle renews on your renewal date, not automatically at the start of a calendar month.
Can I distribute my annual documents freely?
Yes. The full annual bundle is immediately available and can be used freely throughout the subscription year, with no separate monthly limit.
How much does an extra document cost?
An extra document costs €0.75 with Flex, €0.65 with Starter, €0.55 with Groei and €0.45 with Pro.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly later?
Yes. Monthly to yearly can start immediately through the existing proration flow. Yearly to monthly normally takes effect at the next annual renewal date.
What happens when I upgrade during a running period?
An upgrade can take effect immediately with proration handled by the billing provider. Used document volume is preserved and an upgrade is never automatic. A downgrade normally starts at the next renewal.
What happens to existing customers?
Existing licences are not changed automatically. Existing Unlimited customers also retain their current terms for now.
