How do I connect Billnado to Grok?

Grok can use Billnado tools directly in a conversation through a custom MCP connector. The connection uses Billnado's public endpoint and OAuth, so you do not need to paste a token or password into Grok.

Connect through grok.com

1. Open grok.com/connectors.
2. Select New Connector, then Custom.
3. Name the connector Billnado.
4. Enter https://mcp.billnado.be/mcp as the MCP server URL.
5. Save the connector and complete sign-in with your Billnado account.
6. Open a new conversation and ask Grok to use Billnado.

Grok automatically discovers the tools offered by Billnado. For Grok Business and Enterprise, a team administrator must first make the connector available to the organization in the xAI cloud console. Each team member then connects their own Billnado account.

Select a specific administration

Without additional configuration, Billnado uses your default administration. First ask “Which administrations can I access?” when you need another administration. Grok can then use subscribers_list and, after your explicit confirmation, subscriber_connect.

Have the AI use subscribers_list to find the intended administration. Pass its selected ID as subscriberId on every subsequent administration-scoped tool call. This tool parameter replaces transport header configuration. Explicitly request subscriber_connect only if an accountant or support connection is still needed; your existing access rights continue to apply.

Billnado offers read and write actions. Check the administration, document and proposed consequences before making changes or sending anything. Use My licence in Billnado for licence changes; MCP supports only licence information and price calculations.

Verify the connection

After signing in, try:

• “Which administrations can I access in Billnado?”
• “Show the active license for my default administration.”
• “Find customer Acme and show the VAT number.”

When tools are out of date

If Grok does not recognise a new or changed Billnado capability, reconnect the connector and start a new conversation if necessary.
