Use the details page to manage a project's information and follow-up and to review linked documents. An active Billnado licence is required.
Project details
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Project Name | The recognizable name used to find the project in lists and linked documents. |
| Client | The client for whom the project is carried out. It cannot be changed on this page. |
| Start date | The date when the project started or is scheduled to start. |
| End date | The date when the project was completed or is expected to be completed. |
| Phase | The freely entered phase of the current project. |
| Description | Additional information about the project's scope, agreements, or context. |
| Own project number | Your own reference for finding the project within the administration, alongside Billnado's automatic project number. |
| Project manager | The user responsible for following up the project within the administration. |
In System, Created on shows when the project was created. Last updated on shows the most recent saved change and can be empty until the project has been changed.
Save or reset changes
When there are no changes, Delete Project and Change Status are available. Editing a field replaces them with Reset and Save.
- Reset restores the last saved project details.
- Save stores the changed project details. The linked client remains unchanged.
Change status
Choose Change Status and select the state that matches the project's follow-up:
| Choice | New status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Open | Open | The project is active. |
| Block | Blocked | Work on the project is temporarily paused. |
| Close | Closed | The project is completed. |
| Abandon | Abandoned | The project will not be continued. |
The current status is not shown in the menu. A selected status is saved immediately; you do not need to choose Save.
Linked documents
The details page groups documents linked to the project: sales invoices, sales credit notes, sales orders, quotations, deliveries, purchase invoices, purchase credit notes, purchase orders, receptions, and rentals.
Linked documents show their main identifying details, applicable amounts, and current status. Expand a document to review its linked lines. The eye icon opens the original document; make changes on that document's own details page.
Delete the project
Choose Delete Project to open a double confirmation. After confirmation, the project is permanently deleted and you return to the projects list. This action cannot be undone.
