Viewing and managing products
Search and filter products, open their details, and manage active, archived, and deleted products.
Updated on August 26, 2026
The product list provides a central overview of the products you sell, use in documents, or manage in stock. You can search, sort, and filter products and open their details. You need access to the administration and an active Billnado license.
Product information in the list
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Sku | The internal product code used to recognize and find the product quickly. |
| Name | The product name used in selections and documents. |
| Category | The article category in which the product is grouped. |
| Inventory | The number of individual stock items currently available in stock. Sold, used, rented, defective, or destroyed items are not included. |
| Active | Appears when archived products are included and shows whether the product is still active. |
The search box searches the product name and SKU. You can sort the list by Sku, Name, or Category. Quantity shows how many products match the current search and filters.
Filter the list
| Filter | Effect |
|---|---|
| Archived products | Includes inactive products and displays the Active column. Without this filter, only active products are shown. |
| Show only products in stock | Limits the list to products with at least one available stock item. |
Billnado remembers your search, sorting, and filters during the current browser session.
Product actions
| Action | Availability and effect |
|---|---|
| Details | Opens the full product page and its stock overview. |
| Archive | Available for an active product. Makes it inactive and removes it from the default list without erasing its stored information. |
| Restore | Available for an archived product. Makes it active again. |
| Delete | Only available for an archived product. Opens a double confirmation and then deletes the product permanently. |
Caution: deletion cannot be undone. Use Archive when you want to retain the product and its related history.
Select Create Product to start a new product.
Empty list and loading errors
When no product matches the search and filters, Billnado displays an empty list. Clear the search text or disable a filter. If loading fails, an error appears above the list; try loading the list again.
Frequently asked questions
Why did a product disappear after I archived it?
Archived products are hidden by default. Enable Archived products to show and, if needed, restore them.
Why does a product have stock but not appear with the stock filter?
The filter only counts items currently available in stock. Items with another status, such as sold, rented, or defective, are not available stock.
