Reading and using the overview
Wait until loading has finished before concluding that an item is missing. Use search, sorting and any available filters to narrow the result, and clear them again when the expected row is not shown. A total or counter applies to the current result set, not necessarily to all data.
Open the matching row only after checking its name, date, status and active work context. Actions may be hidden or disabled because of permissions, the current status, or because the selected context is already active. An empty overview can therefore mean that there are no records, that filters exclude them, or that your user has no access. Refresh once after a completed change; avoid repeating an action while the page is still processing it.
This page lists journals that group purchase documents. The table contains Number and Default; the default is preselected for new purchase documents. Search and sort, then use View for settings.
Delete is available only for a non-default journal and requires confirmation. Replace a default on its details first. Linked data may prevent deletion. Choose Add to create a journal. An empty list means none are available.
Use and availability
These journals belong to the active administration. Default is proposed on new purchase documents; users may choose another. Changing default does not move existing documents. Search uses the journal number; sort by number for a predictable order.
Delete opens confirmation and is disabled for the default purchase journal. Linked data can also prevent deletion. On load failure, refresh and verify the active administration. An empty list means a journal must be created before preparing purchase documents.
Frequently asked questions
The default cannot be deleted because a usable default is required. Make another journal default first. A new default affects future proposals only.
