Changing or renewing a licence

Choose a paid plan or buy a subsequent period on My licence. You need access to the administration and your provider must offer self-service. A plan change requires an active licence. Contact your provider if the licence has expired or a reseller manages it.

1. Check the administration and current licence

Select the intended administration and open My licence in settings. Check the current plan and any Already purchased licenses. For a legacy subscription, first use the offered conversion to Starter, Grow or Pro. This runs immediately and retains the existing dates.

2. Choose the billing period

Choose Month or Year above the plan cards. The cards show the fixed price excluding VAT, the document allowance and the additional document rate. Your choice is immediately saved as the preferred period.

From Flex, this determines the new paid period. For an existing paid plan, a plan change retains the current period; the new preference applies at the next renewal.

3. Perform the chosen action

Change plans or switch from Flex

Choose Upgrade subscription or Downgrade subscription on the desired paid plan. Check the price difference, additional document costs, administration costs and total excluding VAT in the confirmation dialog. Cancel closes the dialog without a plan change. Choose Upgrade or Downgrade to apply the change immediately.

Important: confirmation replaces your current plan and changes already purchased future licences. A paid subscription retains its period and end date. From Flex, the new period starts today and the purchase cannot be undone. Previously charged documents are not refunded; returning to Flex is possible only after expiry.

Renew the same plan manually

Check Available to buy from under Renewal. Renewal is possible from seven days before the last monthly licence ends or one month before the last annual licence ends. Automatic renewal must be disabled and an active licence with an end date must exist. Flex needs no renewal.

Choose Extend license. Billnado purchases the current plan for your saved preferred period. The new licence starts the day after the last purchased period.

Important: Extend license makes the paid purchase immediately without an additional confirmation dialog. Check your current plan and monthly or annual preference before clicking.

4. Check the result and automatic renewal

After a plan change, the new plan appears under Active licenses. A subsequent period appears under Already purchased licenses until its start date.

Enable auto-renewal authorises automatic purchases of subsequent periods using your saved preference. Disable automatic renewal stops future renewals but does not cancel already purchased licences. Both settings are saved immediately.
