Create an article category

An article category groups products and services according to a structure that fits your administration. The category becomes available in article category fields. You need access to the administration and an active Billnado licence.

Category information

Field	Meaning
Name	The recognisable category name shown in selection lists and article records.
Description	Additional guidance about which products or services belong in the category. You can format this text.

Choose a clear name so users can quickly recognise the correct category. The description can clarify internal agreements about how articles are grouped.

Create the category

Choose Create category once the information is complete. Billnado saves the category and opens its new record. The category can then be selected for products and services; existing articles are not assigned to it automatically.
